Breast Lift

A breast lift or mastopexy procedure is designed to help reposition breasts that have lost their youthful shape with age, changes related to pregnancy or significant weight loss.  Since no breast implant is used, patients who choose this approach are usually happy with the volume of their breasts in a bra – this procedure can be effective for women who also would be happy with a small reduction in their cup size.

Breast Lift with Implant

An augmentation mastopexy or the combination of a lift and implant is designed to correct two of the most common issues that occur after pregnancy or weight loss – the amount of excess breast skin that results in a “droopy” appearance as well as the loss of breast tissue leaving the breasts looking “empty.”  This is the operation that often provides our San Diego patients with the most dramatic cosmetic breast surgery results and the happiest patients.

Breast Reduction

Many women are born with large breasts or can have unwanted over-development of the breast tissue with weight gain.  Large, heavy breasts can result in a number of associated problems such as back and/or neck pain, limitations on one’s physical abilities secondary to breast size and weight, shoulder grooving from bra straps and rashes may develop beneath the breast crease.  A breast reduction or reduction mammaplasty can simultaneously solve many of these issues that have bothered many women for years.

Breast Implant Revision

Women who have undergone breast augmentation surgery in the past may desire a change in the implant type (saline or silicone), size or need revisionary surgery to correct problems that developed after their original procedure.
