Revision Rhinoplasty

As rhinoplasty is such a technically demanding surgery, there is a sub-specialty related to the correction of problems that may have resulted from previous nasal surgery. Patients can develop both external irregularities and breathing problems from a previous rhinoplasty. Secondary or revision rhinoplasty surgery is designed to help correct these problems often requiring the use of additional cartilage taken from the ear or the rib.

Chin Implant Surgery

Chin implant surgery or mentoplasty is a wonderful surgery designed to correct a weak or underdeveloped chin. A solid silicone implant is used to augment a chin that can be out of balance with the rest of a patient’s features. This is a surgery I see equally distributed between both men and women, and one with a very high satisfaction rate.

Otoplasty – Ear Reshaping Surgery

Otoplasty, commonly know as “ear pinning,” reshapes and repositions prominent ears closer to the head. The cartilage may need to be re-contoured, but the primary goal is to make the prominent ear blend in to the patients overall appearance making it no longer a feature that draws unnecessary attention.
