Breast Augmentation Patient with Mild Nipple Asymmetry

Breast Augmentation PatientThe patient is a 24-year-old San Diego woman who came into the office wanting a breast augmentation. On examination, we noted that she had mild nipple asymmetry, which is very common in women. No two breasts are exactly the same. We discussed the augmentation with a small adjustment, a small lift on one side. This allows us to elevate and match the nipple and areola to the other (more “youthful”) side. She underwent the placement of a 339 cc smooth round silicone implant through a nipple incision with a small “periareolar” breast lift on her right side. View photos.
