When you think of plastic surgery, you think of the Kardashians. No other family in Hollywood has not only been transformed by plastic surgery but has also had such a transformative effect on the beauty industry. The global trend toward a larger backside, rhinoplasties and big lips are largely a result of decisions made by Kardashian women.

Many people question how much money it takes to maintain the Kardashian empire with plastic surgery. It is important to realize that they will receive many of their treatments for free as an advertisement for the doctors who treat them. However, there is still likely a large price tag on their plastic surgery needs despite their continued denials.  The Kardashians would likely only choose more exclusive and expensive providers and thus…

The Kardashians’ Before and After

If you compare the figures of the Kardashian girls from their early years, they are dramatically different. The only way to make the changes to their figure (especially with the un-human proportions they have) is only through the process of liposuction in combination with fat transfer to the buttocks.

Aside from that, here are the procedures that they probably got with their respective costs:

Liposuction

As none of the girls were overweight or possessed enough fat to make the dramatic changes, they have been undergoing the periodic injection of a product called Sculptra into the buttocks to make up for a limited amount of fat. Liposuction with fat transfer ranges from $10,000 to $25,000. Sculptra can be up to $30,000 depending on how much product is needed.

Rhinoplasty

Most of the Kardashian women have undergone a rhinoplasty as well to narrow and refine their nasal shape. This is a procedure that normally if performed well, can be done once. That being said, it is expensive if you want to make sure it is done right. A typical rhinoplasty can range from $7,000 to $15,000.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is also a staple for the family as most of the girls have undergone an augmentation procedure. Depending on the type of implant (saline or silicone), the price can vary, but it is almost certain that they chose the better option – silicone. The price can range from $6,000 to $10,000 for a typical augmentation.

Botox & Fillers

Filler and Botox are the biggest recurring costs for most of the Kardashians. It is well known that even the youngest Kylie has been getting lip filler since before she was 18 years old. Her lips were markedly enhanced with filler, and it is thought that she had anywhere from 6-8 syringes in her lips. Knowing their filler addiction, it is likely that they are filling not only their lips but also their cheeks and jawline. And Botox is almost a mandatory event for all women. One syringe of Juvederm is $700, while Botox is $1500 (3 times per year).

The Total Cost of their Procedures

PROCEDURES COST
Body Transformations $50, 000
Breast Transformations $10, 000
Facial Surgery $15, 000
Fillers $15, 000/year
Botox $5, 000/year

Total: Over $100,000 on plastic surgery with annual filler and Botox maintenance of roughly $20,000.

Setting Responsible Goals

It is expensive to look like a Kardashian. Keep in mind that despite their access to some of the best plastic surgeons and dermatologists in the world, they still have many complications associated with too much surgery including an imbalance in their figure and contour irregularities most notably in Kim.

Their continued denial of their use of plastic surgery is unfair to most young women who look up to them as role models. They give the false hope that with some mild exercise that women can create a figure similar to the Kardashians. Their figures are much less a product of hard work as a surgeon’s knife.
